"Beltane's Artistic Alchemy: A Blessing of Creativity"

Today was beautiful, the sun was shining, the flowers on my balcony blooming, bees coming...and the gorgeous old rose tree I have in the garden near my home was in full bloom!!
It is Beltane! And on this day I believe it is beautiful to even more follow your heart and intuition, do what makes you the happiest, find joy in the simple gifts that nature offer to us...
For me, it is in creating Art and being in nature...
I also love to decorate my art space with what makes me feel at peace and in a joyful energy... like Roses and wild Flowers ... I am so in love with old roses so that was the best day to also PAINT roses!
I started to work on my painting in progress...
(I will reveal it soon here on my website and instagram)
Details are my favorite part of the process because it is a moment when I slow down and reflects on my art. I find myself remembering when I started it and how it unfolded...revealed itself with each new brushstrokes...
My process is that I don't use a source during the whole process, except the photo I use for the animal. When I do a protrait I take a photo or find a photo that will have this energy I like, I like to paint women portraits a lot, so I know which kind of portrait I like and I am now used to paint them;
A source is important to check your proportions, but once that is done, I just like to let my creativity lead me...
Everything come from my imagination and emotions at the moment when I am painting. It is like writing a poem or composing a song... that's what makes me the happiest in my process... I feel free.
