Hello, I'm Naïma.

​

I'm a French contemporary artist living in the south of France. Although I now call Bordeaux home, my story began in Normandy, where I grew up surrounded by meadows, forests, and endless countryside.

 

Just a few miles from Claude Monet's home, I spent my childhood sketching flowers, birds, and wildlife, long before I ever imagined becoming a professional artist.

At the age of 38, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life. I chose to let go of fear and begin again.

​

That decision became the beginning of a deeply personal healing journey...one rooted in self-love, slowing down, embracing the rhythm of nature, and rediscovering the dreams I had quietly carried since childhood.

​

As I explored different creative paths, I eventually fell in love with oil painting and mixed media. I dedicated more than a year to building my portfolio, experimenting, learning, and searching for a visual language that truly felt like my own. Little by little, I found my voice. Since then, painting has become not only my profession but also the way I make sense of the world.

Nature has always been my greatest teacher.

​

Whenever I can, I travel in search of wild places...from the ancient forests of Canada and California to the vast landscapes of Scandinavia. I love wandering new trails, learning about wildlife, Indigenous cultures, ancient art, and the stories that landscapes carry through time.

​

For more than twenty years, I've returned again and again to the northern wilderness, hoping to witness one of the animals that has touched me most deeply: the wolf.

 

And I was lucky that this. dream came true a few times while in Yellowstone and Jasper National parks or in the wild taïga in Finland.. 

 

The wolf's energy is part of me... its quiet strength, freedom, and connection to the natural world continue to inspire both my life and my art.

Every painting I create is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, and rediscover the wild, intuitive part of ourselves that so easily gets lost in modern life.

​

My hope is that when one of my paintings finds its way into your home, it brings not only beauty, but also a sense of peace, wonder, and a gentle reminder to stay connected to what truly matters.

​
