Naïma - Live Wedding Painter in the South of France
About me:
Naïma is a professional artist from the South of France.
Originally from Normandy, she grew up near the home of Claude Monet, whose work profoundly inspired her to become a painter. Surrounded by the meadows and countryside of Normandy, she spent her childhood sketching her favorite flora and fauna — a quiet beginning to a lifelong love of art, nature, and emotion... Capturing your Love Story on canvas
Imagine your wedding day captured not just in photographs, but on a living, breathing canvas.
The sunlight, the romance, the scent of flowers, and the feeling of love… all expressed through the poetry of paint.
As a live wedding painter, I create original artworks during your celebration in the South of France, painting as your story unfolds before your guests’ eyes.
While I often paint the bride and groom during the ceremony or first dance, I also offer additional paintings that beautifully tell the story of your day:
-
The wedding venue, bathed in golden light
-
The bridal bouquet or floral arrangements
-
The wedding rings, the atmosphere, or a romantic detail from your celebration
Each canvas becomes a chapter of your wedding story, alive with color, emotion, and meaning.

I bring my brushes and passion wherever love is celebrated."

WHAT TO EXPECT
My Process
Arrival
I arrive at your venue approximately one hour before the ceremony begins to explore the surroundings, absorb the atmosphere, and meet you in person. I carefully select the perfect location to set up my easel and prepare my palette.
During the ceremony and the early moments of your celebration, I begin sketching and observing the light, colors, and unique ambiance of the day.
My approach is highly personal, and I strive to make the experience just as special as the artwork itself.
I paint live for approximately two hours before returning to my studio to complete the piece.
Because I work with mixed media and oil paints, each layer requires time to dry properly. The entire creative process typically takes about one week, from the initial sketch to the final finishing touches.
