Inspired by Claude Monet:
A Floral Journey Through Giverny and Beyond

My love for Claude Monet began in childhood, when I visited his garden and home in Giverny with my school.

Born in Normandie myself, I felt an immediate connection to his world... the soft beauty of the place, the flowers, the quiet of the lily pond, the dream of painting nature as a way of life.

Years later, it was this memory that led me back to painting. In 2017, I began by recreating some of Monet’s works, not as a copyist, but as a woman rediscovering her voice through brushstrokes.

Today, this new collection is a tribute, to Monet, to the garden that awakened something deep in me, and to the timeless beauty of nature in bloom. I hope this serie will enchant you and inspire you daily.

This is a work in progress as I am working currently on this serie. The first paintings are from 2018-2019 and the new pieces will soon be shared.

Giverny Garden inspiration
acrylic paintings
2017 - 2019

As a little girl growing up in Normandie, I visited Claude Monet’s home and garden in Giverny with my school.

I remember standing among the flowers, watching the light dance on the pond, and feeling a quiet certainty: one day, I would become a painter.

Years passed. I didn’t go to art school or follow the “proper” path...

But in 2017, I finally listened to the voice within me.

I picked up a brush, poured some acrylic paint, and began to reproduce some of my Monet’s favorite  artwork...not for anyone else, just for me. To prove that I could. To reclaim a dream.

It was my way of stepping into the world of painting...one brushstroke at a time.

There are moments when words fall short
but a single bloom says it all.

A soft petal, a burst of color,
a quiet grace that reminds us
to slow down,
to breathe,
to feel.

Nature doesn’t ask for attention
she simply offers beauty.

And in her presence,
we remember something true.

"Claude Monet's garden:
Là où brillent les nénuphars roses"
oil painting

J’ai peint le pont en blanc, léger,
baigné de rose et de lumière,

comme un matin doux de juillet
dans le jardin de Giverny.

Les fleurs flottent, calmes, silencieuses,
la nature parle à qui l’écoute.

Je me perds dans sa paix précieuse,

sa douceur.

Ce tableau, c’est un souvenir,
un instant tendre que je partage.

Puissiez-vous aussi y ressentir
un éclat de rêve et de voyage.

"Le souffle du printemps"
acrylic painting

Monet’s Garden, Reimagined:
My 2025 Series of Original Works

In 2020, I returned to Giverny as an artist...no longer the dreaming child, but a woman shaped by years of painting and living with nature as my muse.

Wandering again through Monet’s garden, I felt a familiar peace, but also something new: the urge to express this place not through imitation, but through my own eyes.

In this new series, I’ve let the spirit of Monet guide me while painting with my own voice...soft blooms, luminous light, and colors that speak of reverie and renewal.

These works are filled with passion and a desire to share the beauty of this place that still inspires so many of us.

Each canvas carries a piece of Giverny,
seen through the lens of my own story.

"Claude Monet's garden:
Reflets dans l'eau"

oil painting

This is the first painting in my new 2025 series inspired by Claude Monet’s water garden.

I created it from one of the photos I took during my visit in July 2020.

Reflets dans l'eau captures the quiet beauty of the gardens and one of my favorite things watching the sky and light dance upon the water.

This series is a love letter to Giverny, to the soft poetry of nature, and to the dream that Claude Monet sparked in me as a child.

Each painting holds a piece of that wonder I felt walking through his garden, surrounded by blossoms, reflections, and the quiet magic that lingers in the air.

Through my own eyes and brushes, I’ve painted not only flowers and water, but the feeling of being there... the joy, the stillness, the inspiration that flows in every petal and every ray of light.

If you, too, have felt moved by Monet’s world... if you’ve wandered his garden or dreamed of doing so ... I invite you to bring a piece of that beauty into your home.

These paintings were made with love, and perhaps one of them is meant for you.
