Wildlife and Landscape Art Inspired by the American West

Celebrating the Wild Spirit of Yellowstone and the Grand Teton Mountains
In 2011, I set off on a road trip across the USA and fell in love with the wild soul of the American West.
Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons stole my heart. I had dreamed since childhood of seeing a bear and a wolf in the wild and that summer, my dream came true. I’ll never forget the stillness of the meadows, the wolves howling at night, or the golden light touching the mountain peaks.
This collection is a love letter to that unforgettable time and place... to the wild beauty I found there, and especially to Grizzly 399, the iconic mama bear who moved and inspired so many of us.
It is, above all, a tribute to my deep and lasting love for Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons... places that changed me forever.

"Matriarch of the Tetons"
oil painting
She roamed the valleys and climbed the ridges,
a silent guardian of ancient lands.
With the wisdom of the mountains in her gaze
and the wild breath of the earth in her veins.
Mother, queen, survivor
she carried the story of the Tetons in every step.
A legacy of strength wrapped in gentleness,
a spirit too vast to ever be forgotten.
This painting is a tribute to the Mama bear Grizzly 399
Original painting Available in Bozeman, MT at Moreno Fine Art Gallery, Prints available link below!
"The Quiet Spirit" oil painting
He moves through the forest like a breath,
a shadow of silver and silence.
Eyes deep as the twilight,
carrying the untold stories of the wild.
Guardian of forgotten paths,
messenger of mystery and belonging,
he reminds us of the wild spirit we carry within quiet,
untamed, eternal.
This painting is a tribute to the beauty and spirit of the wolf,
roaming the Yellowstone resilient as ever.

״The wild stirs something deep within us... a longing for freedom, connection, and authenticity.
It calls us to remember the untamed beauty that exists both in nature and in ourselves.
Through my art, I capture this wild spirit, inviting you to reconnect with the strength, grace, and mystery of the world around us.״

"First Light of the Wild"
oil painting
A new day is born,
wrapped in warmth, in hope,
and the promise of what’s to come.
We step into the glow of the sun,
reminded us of the beauty in and out,
and the quiet magic of the wildflower fields.
I feel alive.

"Where Earth Meets Eternity"
oil painting
There, where earth meets heaven,
the mountains breathe in golden light.
The eagle drifts across the silence,
and time itself seems to soften.
In that vast stillness,
My heart lets go,
My soul remembers
and I become one with nature.
"Where Earth Meets eternity" captures the feeling of standing beneath endless skies, enveloped by the forest, where the soul feels free, and everything else falls away when walk into these mountains.

״There’s something about wolves that has always stayed with me.
A quiet bond, ancient and wild... something we feel more than we can explain.
When I paint them, it’s not just about their beauty; it’s about that feeling of belonging to the earth, of moving through life with instinct and heart.
Wolves remind me of the freedom we sometimes forget,
the strength we carry deep inside.״

Each painting in this collection carries a piece of my heart, a memory of the wild places that have shaped me.
If one of these pieces speaks to you... if it reminds you of your own connection to nature, to freedom, to the quiet magic of the earth, I would be honored for it to find a home with you.
May these artworks bring a little of the wild, the wonder, and reignite memories of Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons into your life.
