Hi! I am Naïma, an oil painter based in the South of France. My art is born from a long journey of remembering ...remembering the feminine, the wild, the intuitive parts of ourselves that were once silenced or forgotten.
I paint women, animals, and nature as symbols of healing and freedom. Through art, I reclaimed my own feminine energy, and today my paintings are created for women who feel a quiet (or sometimes burning) call to return to their true essence. :)
If you found your way here, it is not by chance I believe; You may be a wild dreamer, a woman who feels deeply, who longs for beauty, truth, and soul connection. The Year of the Horse carries a message especially for you.

The Year of the Horse & Its Wild Feminine Energy
The Year of the Horse carries a powerful, untamed energy. In Chinese astrology, the Horse symbolizes freedom, movement, instinct, passion, and life force.
When we view this year through the lens of the Sacred Feminine, it becomes an invitation to return to the body, to intuition, and to inner truth.
The Horse does not move from fear or obligation. She moves because something inside her says now. This is the essence of feminine power: alive, embodied, and deeply intuitive.

The Horse as a Sacred Feminine Symbol
Across cultures and myths, the Horse has always been linked to women, goddesses, and priestesses. She represents:
Embodied intuition: wisdom that lives in the body, not the mind
Freedom and sovereignty : choosing your own rhythm and direction
Creative life force: emotional, sensual, and spiritual energy
Wild grace:strength that flows rather than forces
The Year of the Horse & the Awakening of the Wild Woman
Many women feel a shift during the Year of the Horse. A restlessness, a longing, a need for more truth.
You may feel:
A desire to leave what no longer feels aligned
A return to creativity after a long silence
A pull toward nature, slowness, and authenticity
This is the Wild Woman archetype awakening: not in a chaotic way, but more like rooted and wise.
She listens to her cycles. She honors beauty and instinct. She knows when to run and when to rest.
My art is created in dialogue with this energy. Each painting is a mirror, reflecting back the parts of you that are ready to be seen.
Lately I have felt so much attracted to paint the wise woman, the woman who remember her worth, her truth and "The Wisdom She Carries" was born! I finished it on the winter solstice and I believe this painting truly capture the energy of the horse.

The Spirit of the Horse in My Art
Even when the Horse is not physically present in my paintings, her energy lives within them.
She moves through:
The gesture of the brushstrokes that is wild and free
The untamed feminine figures
The fire and earth color palettes I am always attracted to!
The bond between women and animals that for me is really strong and what connects us to our true wild nature.
My collections are created as portals, spaces where you are invited to slow down, feel, and reconnect with yourself.
If you feel drawn to the Year of the Horse, it may be because your soul is asking for more space, more honesty, more beauty.
How to Align with the Year of the Horse Energy
To work with this year, I invite you to move gently but truthfully:
Spend time in nature without distraction
Move your body intuitively — walk, stretch, dance
Create without judgment
Surround yourself with art that reflects who you are becoming
Trust what feels alive rather than what feels expected
The Horse listens inward. She always has.
A Message for Wild Dreamers
If you feel emotional, inspired, or restless, you are not lost. You are remembering.
The Year of the Horse is not about speed, it is about truth in motion.
May this year guide you back to your wild heart, your creative power, and the feminine wisdom that has always lived within you. Much love, Naïma
