Breathe of Life | Original Oil Painting | Divine Feminine

During my last visit to Le Louvre in Paris, I was enchanted by the breathtaking statue of Cupid and Psyche’s kiss. 
I lingered there, allowing myself to be immersed in its beauty, surrounded by other magical creations...the Egyptian decors, the endless paintings and beauty...all of it stirred something deep in my heart.
When I returned home, I felt a strong urge to create a large painting to carry those emotions forward. 
The story of Cupid and Psyche touched me profoundly: the divine love, the radiant light emanating from that statue, that is what moved me most.
In my mind, I began to see a painting in clair obscur: darkness versus light...with Cupid and Psyche form on the left, anda burst of flowers above on the right...I later imagined the kiss itself becoming the source of light, illuminating everything around it, a reminder of the power of love.
This painting was born from that vision, and for me, it is a symbol that Love always prevails
