Breath of Life - L’Amour triomphant
 
I got inspired to create this piece after visiting Le Louvre last summer ~ seeing again Psyche and Cupid statue, I knew I wanted to capture this gorgeous statue on canvas. 

I imagined a wild floral with a giant white peony called "Moonstone" symbol of abundance, sacred feminine and prosperity. 

The kiss is symbol of Awakening as it is the moment when consciousness returns. It symbolises the soul being back into itself. I see the peony as the soul-flower of Psyche. 🌸

This painting is titled Breath of Life ~ it can have many symbolisms, unique for everyone who feel touched by it.
