About Naïma, Artist, Wild Dreamer
Naïma's Art Journey
I was 11 when I first discovered the house and gardens of Claude Monet, near Paris.
That school trip opened a new world for me, a silent awe before a place where art and nature became one.
Back home, drawing became essential to my life. I spent hours reproducing animals, flowers, and landscapes, guided by an instinctive fascination with the living world.
From an early age, the idea of becoming an artist took root. Yet the path was not immediate. It required time, detours, and a slow inner maturation.
In 2017, a meeting during a trip to California reignited this deep connection to painting , like a gentle reminder. Upon returning home, I picked up my brushes again. Since then, creating has become a natural and essential part of my life.
I often describe this journey as that of a lotus flower: a gradual, almost invisible unfolding, after many years spent searching. Everything was already there, waiting to bloom.
Today, painting is at the heart of my life. It is a space for inner exploration, a way to connect with what ties us to our essential nature.
Through my work, I develop a universe inspired by the feminine, where strength, softness, and freedom meet.
Each painting invites contemplation and a reconnection with a more instinctive, sensitive part of oneself.

Starting my Art Career
2020/ This year has been a turning point in my life, I felt after 10 years of creating as a graphic designer and exploring the world, it was time to do what I always wanted to do but feared the most. To become a painter. By the end of the year, I embarked on a new journey by going back to school.
2021/ I developed my skills (oils, acrylic, sketching, mixed medias techniques) and found my voice during 1 year and half, completing a portfolio class.
2022 - to today/ By painting consistently, I found my own unique style, painting feminine portraits, romantic and peaceful landscapes that are inspired by my travels in France and in the wildest places of the inner and outer world.
My art invites the viewer to reconnect to their genuine self, their wild nature.
Ever since I started, I have sold my art around the world, making beautiful connections with my collectors.

Remember how powerful you are
I paint to evoke a feeling...a sense of calm, beauty, and presence.
Each work is conceived as an intimate space, where anyone can project their own story, emotions, and memories.
Over time, I’ve come to understand that this silent connection between a painting and the viewer lies at the heart of my work.
It is in this resonance...often hard to explain—that the artwork truly finds its place.
Some people recognize a painting as theirs the moment they see it, without always knowing why.
It is this moment that moves me the most.
