This painting was born from the energy of transformation that begins, deep within the self.
A becoming that cannot always be seen immediately…but that changes everything.

As I painted her, butterflies appeared naturally through intuition —
within her eyes, around her presence, beside her spirit.
And next to her emerged the blue morpho butterfly.
I first encountered these extraordinary butterflies during a journey to Costa Rica in 2015.
Their luminous blue wings felt almost unreal, like living fragments of sky moving through the forest.
Something about them stayed with me ever since.

Its wings radiate brilliant blue in the light,
yet when closed, they become hidden, earthy, almost invisible.
A reminder that true power does not always announce itself.
Sometimes it grows silently within us first.
