Rising From Within – Original Sacred Feminine Oil Painting by Naima Namaste
She is the alchemist, turning wounds into wisdom,
shadows into light, silence into truth.
Within her body lives an ancient knowing.
A sacred intelligence that heals, transforms, and awakens.

Inspiration behind the artwork:
This painting was born from the energy of transformation that begins, deep within the self.
As I painted her, butterflies appeared naturally through intuition — within her eyes and around her presence like little angels. And next to her emerged the blue morpho butterfly.
I first encountered these extraordinary butterflies during a journey to Costa Rica in 2015.
Their luminous blue wings felt almost unreal, like living fragments of sky moving through the forest.
Something about them stayed with me ever since.
The blue morpho carries the energy of inner transformation.
Its wings radiate brilliant blue in the light,
yet when closed, they become hidden, earthy, almost invisible.
A reminder that true power does not always announce itself.
Sometimes it grows silently within us first.

This painting speaks to those who are learning to step into their truth.
To those who have moved through healing, change, or awakening.
To those who are no longer willing to hide their sensitivity, their voice, or their light.
Details of the artwork:
Layered with oil paint and mixed media, Rising From Within contains real dried daisies gathered near a lake in the southwest of France, delicate textures, and antique French butterfly illustrations collaged from a vintage book in my personal collection...Fragments of nature and memory woven into transformation itself.
A painting of:
* transformation and rebirth
* feminine awakening
* hidden strength
* truth and self-expression
* healing and inner wisdom
