The Healing Power of Creativity

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how much of my healing has come through creating. Not just painting, but also allowing space for softness, intuition, beauty, and for my feminine self to take up space again.

There were times in my life when I felt disconnected from that part of me. I was surviving on strength alone, forgetting the simple power of gentleness, rest, and joy.

But every time I return to my art, I return to me. The real me. The one that blossoms slowly, follows the moon, and finds freedom in stillness and wild expression.

My journey as an artist has always been deeply tied to the feminine spirit. I paint women, animals, wildflowers, the moon, the sun, and the trees, all symbols of the sacred and natural cycles we carry within.

I also paint messy things! When I feel frustrated, angry, or annoyed, I paint these emotions away.

I grew up in a world where femininity wasn’t always safe or celebrated. That’s why now, through my paintings and every brushstroke, I reclaim that energy.

I believe that reconnecting with our feminine essence is not only healing; it’s necessary. It’s how we come back home to our bodies, our hearts, our voices, and ourselves!
