"maybe the artist isn't someone who never doubts herself...maybe she is the woman who keeps creating anyway"

The Story Behind the Artwork

“She is wandering in the night but never alone.
She shines her light on everyone's heart.
She goes through every phase only to go back to her truest self.
And even during the darkest nights, a wild wolf is always by her side.”

— Naïma

This painting was born from a deep connection to Wild Feminine energy. I truly believe that inside every woman dwells an untamed creature—a magnificent wolf, fierce, resilient, and driven by a strong life force capable of overcoming anything. Daughter of the Moon reflects this sacred journey: a wild woman reclaiming her innate power, intuition, and freedom.

Guided by the vast cosmic sky, she embraces her cyclical nature, knowing that every phase of darkness is just a necessary step toward her ultimate illumination. She does not walk this path alone; the wolf stands beside her as a protective spiritual guide, a guardian of instinct, and an eternal mirror of her untamed soul.

Visual Symbolism & Artistic Insights

  • The Lunar Cycle: The crescent and full moons cascading gracefully down her hair symbolize deep intuition, metamorphosis, and the sacred rhythm of feminine cycles.
  • The Wolf Companion: Painted with textured, highly energetic brushstrokes, the wolf represents loyalty, survival instinct, and the wild guardian within.
  • The Floral Contrast: Clusters of deep crimson and soft pink roses introduce a delicate warmth, reminding us that passion and tenderness can bloom even in the deepest night.
  • The Cosmic Sky: A vibrant celestial backdrop filled with stardust, nebulas, and shooting stars represents the infinite vastness of our inner worlds. (A subtle visual nod to the poetic astrophysics of Hubert Reeves' "Poussières d'étoiles" [Stardust] found in my studio).
