A Wild Romance: art inspired by our true and wild nature.
Naïma is a French artist living in south of France. She was born in Normandie and grew up surrounded by nature and the spirit of the old masters. When she as 11, she visited with her school the home of Claude Monet and it changed her life. Her memory of wandering in his gardens and discovering his art inspired her to become an artist. Naïma's art is filled with a passion for the wild, freedom, romance, feminine beauty and poetry. She loves to paint the sensations we experience in nature, the present moment as well as the feminine energy. She paints expressive portraits, poetic still life, wildlife and French countryside scenes. She often paint plein air in her favorite places in France and when traveling and so always she carries her watercolor set everywhere she wanders. Her influences come from artists such as Arthur Rimbaud, Claude Monet, Pierre Auguste Renoir, but also pre-raphaelites painters such as John Everett Millais and Dante Gabriel Rossetti for their romanticism and representation of the feminine. She nourishes her soul by spending time in France's beautiful museums, chateaux, villages and gardens always exploring and learning. The wild nature, fauna and flora is a huge inspiration for her art. She travels the world to the wildest places. A traveler at heart, she loves to experience wild encounters, especially with wolves, her favorite animal. These experiences make her feel alive and enriched her art with real meaning, conveying a genuine expression of what it feels like to be in symbiosis with the wild and oneself. Her art is wild, feminine and poetic, encouraging viewers to always trust their instinctual side and reconnect with their genuine self.

This Collection is inspired by the French Riviera and French countryside. Following the path of the Impressionists and celebrating their 150 years... I have decided to create a serie of floral and ethereal landscape painting Every summer I take road to the south and explore villages, old ruins, châteaux, I walk the trails by the Mediterranean Sea...I immerse myself in these romantic and beautiful scenery and nourish my soul. This serie is full of light and love, reflecting the unique energy of south of France. It will bring a high vibration to any rooms.

This Collection is inspired by the Soft Feminine. The soft Feminine is a metaphor for the women who reconnect with their heart, softening by nurturing and loving their genuine self. They are in tune with their emotions, their intuition and divine feminine. They are "gently unfolding their wings". This serie represents feminine portraits, goddesses, women with their spirit guides, animals in a beautiful soft energy. I loved to create each piece as they all came to me intuitively.
